Mad Dog Duels

After a week off for the 4th of July, RJo was ready to get back to racing! She told dad he could draw this week because she had been drawing bad lol. Well dad still can’t draw much better he drew a 89. That would put her starting last row inside for heat 1.

Not quite sure what the kart was going to do after the changes in the off week we were a little nervous but at the drop of the green RJo quickly made her way to second and was all over the leaders back bumper. She just couldn’t get around him and he never made a mistake. She would finish Heat 1 in 2nd place. Great job Matthew McDonald in the win.

Heat 2 we would start outside pole and again be all over the leaders back bumper trying to get around them just not quite being able to. So Heat 2 she would finish 2nd again.

That put us starting outside front row for the main and the crew hit the setup perfect. The green flag dropped and RJo never looked back she lead the entire main coming away with her second A-Main win of the season!!!

We want to also thank everyone who helped stuff the backpack for her RJo Racing “806” Backpack Giveaway. She raised $120 which we will be able to use to buy 12 more backpacks.

Thanks to Kristal, Jeff, Pat, and Jaime Standlee McNabb for all y’all do for the kids and all racers week in and week out. We are off next week but will be back in action again on July 22nd for one of RJo’s favorite races of the season the Johnny McDonald/Tommy Corea Memorial Race.

Thanks to all the fans who came out and supported us last night and thanks to our family who is always there and lastly thanks to our amazing sponsors without them none of this is possible.
