Our story begins with a nickname that holds a special place in my heart.
"WALLY"
When we were brainstorming names(which seemed like forever) I knew I wanted something that was western...ish since I am from Texas, and it is Jerky. The list was extensive, but nothing seemed good enough. We went back and forth for months and then one day I was driving on a long stretch of highway when I just giggled and said come on Wally it's not that hard to come up with a name... My dad, for reasons known only to him, called me Wally, even though my name is Mendi. That is where my journey started with Wild Wally’s. This wild nickname is a reminder to go after what I want with all of my heart.
My passion for making beef jerky stems from my deep-seated love for food and the joy it brings when shared with others. Beef jerky has always been our go to snack of choice. Crafting beef jerky started as a hobby, and a universally loved Christmas gift for friends and family. It has now developed into so much more and how I share my love language. Each batch of jerky is a labor of love, packed with rich flavors and meticulously crafted to perfection.
Through this journey, I hope to make new friends and spread joy, one flavorful bite at a time.
