Wasn’t the greatest racing weekend for RJo Racing but it was a great weekend and we were able to help raise money for FILL WITH HOPE!!!
Friday night was opening night for Amarillo's Silver Dollar Speedway and we struggled a lot. First heat race we broke an exhaust pipe and finished 5th. We got that fixed and made a gear change for the second heat it definitely wasn’t the right change but we were able to finish 4th. In the main we made another gear change and it was a little better and we came home 5th.
We got up early Saturday morning to head to the Fill With Hope Cars for Kids Carshow. We had a great time and donated $350 to them. Rylee was able to bring home Kid’s Choice and Best of Show Small Engine.
We then headed to Slaton Speedway for their opening night. We made a gear change again and finished heat one in 4th. Heat two was even better and finished 3rd. In the main we would come home 4th.
We are very close on getting this engine figured out we will see everyone Friday at Silver Dollar.
