Was a busy day today started off this morning at the 11th Annual Slug Bug Fest Car Show Street VW and was lucky enough to come away with an award for Best Race Car. We then hit the road to Slaton Speedway for our second to last point night of the season.
Drew a 98 which put us starting last in heat one and that’s where I would finish as the track was muddy and my tear off got stuck so I could not see.
Second heat started pole and lead every lap coming away with the win.
For the main I would start second row inside and work my way to the lead after a good battle with Reed Huskey before he had engine trouble. After the caution for Reed I had a good restart and lead the rest of the race coming away with win number 9 on the season.
We have one more week left in Slaton but I was able to clinch another Jr2 Outlaw Track Championship. Thank you to all my sponsors, family, friends, competitors, and fans for the continued support on and off the track.
