First race recap of the 2023 season!!!!

Woke up Saturday morning and head to Amarillo's Silver Dollar Speedway to shake down the car at practice before loading up and heading south to Slaton Speedway for their opening night.
When we got down to Slaton and checked in RJo drew a #2 chip which would have her starting pole in the first heat. She was a little nervous at first but found her grove late in the race and ended up P2.
In the second heat she would start p4 and you could tell the nerves were gone. She was fast and quickly went to 2nd right on the tail of the leader and just could quite get around him and would settle for another P2 finish.
With her finishes in the heats she would start on the pole for the main. At the drop of the green she was gone and would lead every lap of the main coming away with her first a-main win of the season!!!
We cannot thank everyone enough for all of y’all’s continued support both on and off the track without y’all this isn’t possible. So thank you to all of our fans, friends, family, and sponsors!!!
Remember we are off Racing next weekend but will be in Canyon, TX on the square next Saturday for the FILL WITH HOPE Cars For Kids Car Show from 9-2. We will be back racing the following weekend at Silver Dollar Speedway in 4-28-23 and Slaton Speedway 4-29-23.
