Last night was our final night of racing here at Amarillo's Silver Dollar Speedway for the 2023 season and it was a night of ups and downs.
Heat one RJo started 4th and quickly fell back to 6th as the kart just would not run. We are not really sure what was going on. She would end up 6th.
Heat two she again started 4th and didn’t get the greatest start and fell back to 7th but kart was better and she was able to drive it back up to 5th on the high side where she would finish.
That had her starting 6th in the main. RJo had a great race making it all the way up to 3rd at one point. She would again be the hard charger this week coming home 4th.
With her 4th place finish last night that would secure 3rd place in points for the 2023 season!! We are proud of RJo!! Jr2 was definitely a very challenging class this year full of great competition. Congrats to Paxton Longbine Racing on your championship, Berkley Reese #16 for your 2nd place finish in points, and Paisley Daniel on 4th place it has been fun racing with y’all all season.
