After not racing last week due to RJo being sick she was excited to get back behind the wheel at Amarillo's Silver Dollar Speedway. Dad checked her in and drew a 55 which put her starting on the pole for heat one.
Heat one was much better then opening night and the changes we made were definitely in the right direction. RJo lead most of the caution filled heat race until Paisley Daniels was able to get by her and would come home second.
With the inverted start for heat two RJo would start last and work her way up to fourth. We probably should of made a gear change to make her a little fast for that heat but still a decent run.
With her finishes in the heat races she would start outside pole of the main. We made some changes during intermission and the kart was much better. We are still searching for a little more speed but RJo was able to get her first podium finish of the season and come home third.
