Started the morning out in the shop cleaning on the kart from last nights race and getting ready to travel down to Slaton Speedway for their second point night of the 2024 season.
Coming off a great night last night at Amarillo's Silver Dollar Speedway we feel we are on the right track and were excited to see what the night held for us. Got to the track and we weren’t forsure if we were going to get to race or not with the rain in the area.
Finally got checked in and RJo drew a 75 which would have us starting last in the first heat. At the drop of the green the leader went into turn one a little hot and RJo did a great job to avoid him and keep going. She would restart 1st and never look back taking home a heat race win.
Second heat had her starting on the pole and she drove a great race leading every lap coming away with another heat race win.
For the main she started pole and battled strong with Reid Huskey the whole race but stayed strong held her line and ran her race coming away with her first A-Main win of the season.
This win is dedicated to Stephen Hamilton and the crew at K3 Towing, Recovery, & Transport, Inc. for helping make sure we were on the track to start the season. Thank you Stephen for all your continue support.
