Finally got to go back to Slaton Speedway for a good night of racing!!! Since not racing down here because of weather since April 14th we were super excited to get back although we didn’t know if we were going to get the night in or not with the wind. Luckily for us it died down enough to get the night in. Big shoutout to all the crew at the track for doing everything they could to get the track ready for tonight we know it wasn’t easy with the wind!!!!
RJo would check in and draw an 87 which would have her starting outside pole of heat one. It was a slick dusty track so dad made some last minute changes to tighten the kart up and they worked! She got a great start and drove away from the field leading every lap and winning heat one!!
Kevin and the crew watered the track once the sun went down and before we went back out and it was a great call. It knocked the dust down and the track was awesome. Heat two RJo got a great start again jumped to the lead and leading every lap coming away with her second heat race win of the night!!!
That put us starting pole for the main and she did her thing. After a few restarts kept it close she would come away with her seconds a main win of the season leading every lap!!!
