We were excited to hit the track this week to see if the new changes we made to the kart were finally gonna free the kart up a little bit. Big shoutout to Chris Daniels for helping us this week.
With the hot temperatures the racing action Friday night was pushed back by an hour to give it time to cool down a little bit. Rylee would draw a 99 which would have us starting at the back for heat one. We had tried a new gear and it just wasn’t working right but we would come home fourth.
Heat two we would start on the pole and after a gear change kart was way better. Had a great battle with Berkley Reese #16 and would come home with the heat race win.
For the main we would start second row inside and quickly make our way to second and chase down the leader. RJo gave him everything she had just didn’t quite have enough to get by him and would finish second right on his bumper.
Next week is championship night so come out and support Rylee as the season is winding down. Thank you to everyone who supports us in everything we do!!!
